Description

The Bugzooka is a Heavy weapon introduced in the 25.5.0 update. It can be obtained from the Mesmerized Creators Set. It has quite high damage, low capacity, a low rate of fire and low mobility.

Appearance

Bugzooka looks like a shoulder-mounted electronic device, with a blue color scheme and various electric wires attached to it. Its icon on the front muzzle resembles the icon of an Inter CPU, which is continuously outputting impulses. The text in the muzzle reads "CORE BUGS INSIDE PG". There are 3 hypno vortexes attached to the sides of the cannon that correspond to its weapon theme.

When firing, a concretized bug will be shot out with a purple trail. When reloading, 2 attached circuit boards will be pulled out and then replaced with 2 new boards.

Performance

Bugzooka has high damage, but only one meaningful attribute.

  • Attribute-Electric Shock.pngElectric Shock decreases the enemies' current in-game sensitivity, which makes it much harder for them to turn their screen and fight back. Furthermore, Bugzooka's Electric Shock has the strongest amplitude among all weapons that possess this attribute.

Its very high damage makes it an above average choice in multiple situations, but its starting ammo is very low. The player spawns with 6/4 ammo, which is not even 2 magazines' worth of rockets.

Something to note is that this weapon also has a very short delay before it actually shoots, which means that switching too quickly will not let Bugzooka fire at all. So in a real battle, It is not advised to switch too fast.

Trivia

Etymology

Its name is a combination of "Bug" and "Bazooka". Bazooka is a type of rocket launcher that exists in real life. But for now, it fires bugs out instead of rockets.
