The Huge Boy is a Heavy weapon introduced in the 16.2.0 update. It is obtained from the Survivor's Season Battle Pass.

Appearance

It takes the appearance of a bulky rocket launcher. It has a grey base with a military camo, a grey pistol grip, a brown/light blue screen, and a grey rail containing a white warhead.

Performance

Huge Boy deals a lot of damage, but is armed with a wide array of downsides that make this weapon rather weak in combat.

  • It reloads after every shot.
  • It shoots in an arc, making it harder to land than straight shooters.
  • Its attributes are mostly meaningless and do not help the weapon.

Thus, although Huge Boy is not unusable, it is not advised to use it in normal matches.

Strategy

Equipment Setups

  • Best Setup: Damage Module, Pouch, Jet Fuel. Pouch is essential in using most heavies that reload after every shot, and Jet Fuel increases the chance of hitting in mid-range combat.

Trivia

  • It is based on the Fat Man from the Fallout series.
  • Energy Assault Rifle used this weapon's kill icon when it was first released.
  • When shot in the Armory, the reload speed seems to be 5 seconds, but in-game it is actually ~3.4 seconds.
