Are we sure headshots do just 2x damage? Tested with the icicle minigun on monsters. It seemed to take way less than half of the shots headshots wise compared to body shots and this was before I got my hands on the hunters alter. Maybe monsters have hidden values or accessories do more than they say like how the berserk cape used to increase melee damage.

I did some calculating, both in the Arena and courtesy of my "test dummy" account. So when I was in the Arena shooting monsters, it seems that the monsters have a slightly different damage system. When I was shooting them with my Hellraiser (which is maxed out, if you're wondering), it seemed that headshots had a headshot multiplier of 1.25x (25% more damage, compared to body-shots). I shot them in the body, it took about 60% of their health away (I was shooting the Zombie and Headless Zombie). When I shot the regular Zombie in the head, it left them with a slither of Health left. If it did 2x damage or even 1.50x (50%) more damage, it would've clipped the Zombie in 1 headshot (keep in mind, I was on wave 1 when I was testing it, and the damage was pretty much consistent. You will see what I mean in a bit). So that's why I claim that shooting monster in the head does 25% more damage. Now, against other player is a different story. So when I was shooting my alt with the Hellraiser, it was weird. The first shot took 3 Heart new.png away, the second one took 4, and the third one took 5, and it rotated in that order. I don't know if it was a glitch, because my alt is a lower level, or because it was a private match. But because the Hellraiser did inconsistent damage per shot, I decided to use the Zombie Slayer (yes, mine is also maxed out). The Zombie Slayer actually had consistent damage, so my tests with it were accurate. I quickly wanted to state that , although my alt is level 4 (I only use it for testing), due to the fact that I made the match with my main account, my alt's HP and Armour was adjusted to have 54 total HP (24 Heart new.png and 30 Armour points). When shooting my alt, I found that the Zombie Slayer did 7 Heart new.png per shot, killing my alt in 8 body-shots. When I was shooting my alt in the head, I also found that the Zombie Slayer did 12 Heart new.png per shot, killing my alt in 5 headshots (if you do the math, 12 goes into 54 4.5 times). This doesn't make sense, because if you 12 with 7, then apparently, the Zombie Slayer has a headshot multiplier of 1.7x (1.71 to be exact. So it does 71% more damage in the head). I tested multiple times and re-did my math to make sure that my calculations were correct. So I divided 54 with 7, to get 7.7 (7.714). If you estimate, that leads to 8, so my bodyshot calculations was correct. When I divided 54 with 12, I got 4.5. When estimated, you would get 5, so my headshot calculations was also correct. So I have 3 possible explanations. First, each weapon may have it's own headshot multiplier, second, at least a few Rilisoft's calculations are off. Third, the headshot damage multiplier may actually be 71%. But what happened with my Hellraiser, as explained earlier, I doubt that this is the case. Thank you for reading. I told you Leafy, I'm smart. ( ͡| ͜' ͡| )
