Event gamemodes are special modes that feature either, new rules and game play modifications or limited categories. As of the 21.4.2 update, event gamemodes consists of Brawls and the Arms Race gamemodes and can only be played in a limited period of time.

Brawls

Brawls are Event Modes introduced in the 15.4.1 update that periodically appear in various main gamemode such as Team Fight (Main Mode), Competitive or Capture.

How To Play

Gamemode objectives correspond with the gamemode they appear in. (e.g. Brawls that appear in Battle Royale will have the same rules as a normal Battle Royale match.) Although, several new rules and features will be implemented such as low gravity, or damage reduction.

Arms Race

The Arms Race is a Event Mode introduced in the 21.4.0 update and changes weapons/maps periodically.

How To Play

The main objective of the game is to accumulate as much points and kills possible similar to Deathmatch. At the beginning of a match, you spawn into the map and start with a weapon. As of July 14, 2021, all players would start with the Healing Carp, in which you need to get 1 kill (formerly 1-3 kills) with to switch to another gun and repeat. When killed by another player, you will respawn and your kill streak will be reset. Players continue this process of defeating an enemy and switching to a new weapon until the match ends, or someone gets 1-2 kills with the final weapon.

Holding Positions

Holding Positions is a gamemode introduced in the Blogger Update and is based on the Hardpoint mode from the Call of Duty series.

How To Play

A round of Holding Positions lasts the standard 4 minutes. In this mode, two teams compete the capture the most amount of points within the aforementioned 4-minute time frame. The changes from Call of Duty's version of this is that instead of a point being scored by having a teammate be in the point when the point timer runs out, the point capturing mechanics are borrowed from the Point Capture gamemode, meaning the point is captured after a player stands on the point long enough, with more teammates standing on the point, the faster it is captured.

Plant The Bomb

Plant The Bomb is a gamemode introduced in update 21.7 and is based on the bomb defusal mode from the Counter-Strike series

How To Play

This gamemode essentially works the same as its Counter-Strike counterpart with little to no differences aside from the number of rounds being reduced. This mode pits two teams of five players against each other in a Team Strike esque environment, except this time it's objective based. One team must plant the bomb at a detonation side while the others need to prevent them from doing so and must defuse the bomb if the attackers successfully reach the site. Teams can also win rounds by eliminating all five players on one team. Each team will switch sides after each round. The first team to win 3 rounds wins the entire match.

Mutation

Mutation is a limited time gamemode introduced in version 21.8. This mode is based on the infection modes from the Halo and Call of Duty series of games.

How To Play

Mutation works the same as the mode it is inspired by. One player becomes the mutant and must infect nine other players in order to win. The survivors are tasked with killing the mutant and the infected so they can win. Either side who accomplishes their objective will win the entire match.

Pixel Stars

Pixel Stars is a gamemode that was introduced in 22.3. This mode is based on Choose your Champion games or ads.

How To Play

You need to choose 1 of 7 champions on your team. Then, you battle in 5v5, and you need to get many kills. Which team that get many kills points wins.
