Bubble G.U.M 01
The Bubble G.U.M 01 is a Sniper weapon introduced in the 22.2.0 update. It can be obtained from the Earth Guardians Season Pixel Pass.
Description
Bubble G.U.M 01 is a sniper weapon with good damage, below-average fire rate, small capacity, and low mobility. It is a 2 shot-kill weapon in most cases.
Appearance
It appears as a yellow rifle with several multi-color decals with gum bubbles on the top of the rifle. It also has a yellow/red scope on the top of the rifle.
Performance
An unusual sniper of the legendary grade, this sniper does decent damage (strong damage at mythical) but owes its power to the immense area damage it deals and as well as its unique ability to create sticky puddles in its wake similar to that of Sticky Candy, practically disabling jumps and slowing the target. It can also headshot.
Strategy
Tips
- This weapon is good for slowing down people to finish off with close-range weapons, such as Deadly Digital System, with its slowdown ability that generates a sticky field, much like the Sticky Candy. This weapon is good if equipped in a Three Category Spam loadout because of its annoying slowness.
- This weapon has no travel time, so try to jump and strafe to avoid being shot. If you are slowed down from a shot, then switch to a high-mobility weapon.
- If the map you're playing in has a choke point (e.g. the bridge on Sky Islands), preemptively shoot at that spot so enemies walking into it will be slowed. You or your teammates can easily kill them.
- This weapon has a wide AOE, so shooting from above or using jetpack is advantageous.
Counters
- Wear an armor or a weapon set that gives immunity to slowness. E.g. Crystal Clan Armor
- Jump around so that the users can't easily slow you.
