The Splinter is a Sniper weapon introduced in the 15.6.0 update.
Description
It is a Christmas-themed sniper rifle that shoots bullets with instant bullet travel time. It has a very high total efficiency because of the high rate of fire and average damage, good capacity, and decent mobility. It always takes 2 shots to kill enemies.
Appearance
It appears to be a blue, gray, and purple sniper with a snowflake logo in the middle. It has a light blue scope with red lenses with a light blue magazine, a purple handle, a purple and blue stock, and a gray nozzle. Between the nozzle and the main part of the gun appears to be a light blue Christmas tree shape.
Performance
As a high fire rate sniper, Splinter only gets one primary attribute: 
SlowDownTarget
Though this effect is not significant, it actually helps players aim at enemies and makes it easier for users to kill them.
It has 4x multiplier scope 
,which allows players to attack enemies at all ranges. If enemies get close to users, it's not a bad solution to use its hip-fire shooting.
Generally, Splinter seems quite normal as it only has one special attribute. But there's something more important than these (see in the Basic GamePlay section).
Strategy
Basic GamePlay
For most of the users of Splinter ,there are two real sparkles in their minds
- As a high fire rate sniper, it will shoot twice in one second, with 110 basic damage. It has a very high DPS of 220. High capacity also provides users with the ability to shoot for longer. Endurance is actually important for a high fire rate sniper. With damage boost methods available in the armory and medium level damage module, it could kill any enemies in only two shots (time to kill will be 0.5 seconds).
- If players gain all damage boost approaches, it's also available for them to instantly kill others by hitting the head.
Coupon is not the kind of resource that needs you to precisely calculate how you should use it. For new players, when they reach around level 45, they may already have their first 1000 coupons and be ready to purchase a Mythical weapon in the Gallery. Luckily, Splinter is an available weapon in the gallery, which means players who haven't reached levels 50-65 matches could instantly get this weapon and prepare for the biggest challenge. (50-65 level matches is definitely different in total), if he gets enough coupons.
Even though it has no delay in output and input, it's not the best way to use it as one of the 3catspam weapons. Because its fire rate is higher than the fire rate caused by your switching with the present game mechanics. Besides, switching once for a kill also needs 2 shots, there are no significant benefits for using Spinter as a switching weapon. So regarding it as a stand-alone use weapon may be better.
Easy to get and easy to kill, with all these points mentioned, players who are used to handling Splinter won't feel too bad for battling against other enemies.
Tips
- There's no need for aiming at head constantly, except you ensure enemies will be instantly killed by this headshot
- You can take down airborne users and enemies in close range as this weapon has a fast fire rate. But be sure to do it skillfully
- Use this in medium to long-range maps since it is a sniper
- It's not too bad for battling in short-range, but that's not as good as shotguns.
- Use A High Mobility Weapon for changing places that you attack enemies. Such As Neutron Pulsator, Or Double Cashback.
Counters
- Strafe around the enemy so they won't hit you easily. But do it carefully as the fire rate of this weapon is quite high.
