The Exchanger is a Sniper weapon introduced in the 23.5.2 update. It can be obtained from The Exchange Event.

Description

The Exchanger is a really strong but also rare sniper. It is good for any playstyle especially with the infinite ammo attribute. It is useful in modes like Deathmatch or Teamfight with many people playing.

Appearance

It appears to be a sniper based off every currency in Pixel Gun 3D, gems and coins used as a necklace, keys attached on the barrel, an arcade screen hanging on the scope, a reverse sign on the back which assembles the unlimited ammo attribute, and pixel pass used as the magazine, along with a generic scope which makes sense-ish.

Performance

The Exchanger preforms like an average sniper but with infinite ammo and a chance to drop coin from the enemies. It is recommended in smaller maps.

Strategy

Tips

  • Max out headshot damage and aim for the head of targets to maximize the damage.
  • Kill as many people as you can to get as many coins as possible.
  • Use this as a normal sniper with infinite ammo.

Counters

  • Attack when the user is reloading, as the reload time is quite long.
  • Use rocket jumping weapons to get the user to miss.
  • Try to get the user to miss with a high mobility melee.
  • Aim for the head with a fast primary such as Golden Friend.

Recommended Maps

Equipment Setups

  • Fast mobility weapons like the Double Cashbacks since this sniper has a slow mobility.
  • Maybe suited for 3 Cat Spam loadouts due to its high ammo and high damage.

Changelog

23.5.2

  • Initial release.

Trivia

  • There was a bug with this weapon during the event where people could buy the mythical upgrade first before the weapon, causing the weapon to turn Common and even Uncommon for most people. This also means that the sniper does nearly 0 damage due to the weapon being at a lower rarity.
    • The only way you could convert it back to Mythical was to contact the developers about the problem so they can fix it, though some preferred not to have it fixed so their Exchanger remained as Common and Uncommon.
