AK - 5.56
The AK - 5.56 is a Primary weapon introduced in the 22.2.0 update. It can be obtained from the Earth Guardians Season Pixel Pass.
Description
It is an automatic rifle, a remodel of the classic AK-47. It's military and survivor themed. Since its large buff in December of 2022, it has become one of the strongest automatic weapons in the game.
Appearance
It appears to be a rifle with a grey magazine with two red bands, a red 2x holographic sight mounted on the rear railing, and a Space Invaders style alien charm attached to the side. The alien symbol is also painted on the stock. The gun is overall a light gray, but the front grip part--usually wood in many AK firearms--is a deep red, the barrel is dark gray, and the muzzle has a flame decal.
Performance
When firing it emits a standard yellow-orange muzzle flash, or blue when the Altered skin is equipped. It has a very high base dps, but it also increases by 10% of the base damage per kill up to 4 times. The AK - 5.56 also has a normal fire rate, mid-sized capacity, and a standard mobility.
Strategy
Tips
- When not under attack, try to take cover to reload when low on ammo.
- Take advantage of the rage attribute (if you can)--try to stay alive to increase your dealt damage until you hit a 4 kill streak, after which it will be very easy to eliminate enemies.
- Remember to stay alive because your rage will disappear on death.
- Do not switch weapons after kills as this will reset your rage level.
- Use this in short-mid range; long range battles will be failed by this weapon as it has recoil, a poor bullet spread, and a low-zoom scope.
- Strafe and jump often to avoid injury, but shoot while moving to get kills yourself.
- Don't forget this weapon has the wall break attribute--if an enemy is cowering behind a wall, fire. Your damage will be reduced by 75%, however,
Counters
- Go into close quarters and strafe around the enemy with a high mobility melee to avoid being shot.
- Take out the user with a sniper in long-range as this weapon will underperform at longer distances.
- Use the Stealth Bracelet to make the user miss many of their shots.
- Try to evade the enemy until they drain their ammo, as this weapon will empty fairly quickly, and it has a somewhat long reload that leaves the user vulnerable.
- Use shotguns or heavy weapons to kill the enemy without too much aiming as this is an auto and requires good aim for the user.
- Attack with Stream Beam attribute weapons in close range to swiftly overpower the enemy.

Equipment Setups
- Bring a powerful sniper, preferably a 1-shot, for long range battles.
- For gunfights with quick enemies, have a wide AoE heavy weapon to easily discombobulate them.
- Have a high mobility melee or a grappling weapon to move around fast, as this will transport you rather slowly.
- Use Leader's Drum (gadget) or Piercing Shells (module combo) to greatly increase your damage, which will make it easy to increase your rage.
- The Jetpack makes it easy to rain fire down on your enemies without taking damage.

- When at max rage, the AK-5.56 has the 2nd highest DPS of any weapon, only topped by the Rude Bully.
- The altered skin shares the aesthetic traits of the Wooden Division weapons.
