The Combat Overlords is a Primary weapon introduced in the 21.4.0 update.

Description

The Combat Overlords is a Mythical Grade Primary weapon introduced in the 21.4.0 update. It has 14 damage with 99 firerate, 150 DPS, 50 capacity with 100 reserve, and 100 mobility. It is an 8-10 shot kill when maxed.

Appearance

The weapon appears to be a dual-wielding set of very short submachine guns with a base gray color, and red decorations. The guns themselves include a muzzle brake, a red laser located at the underbarrel, and two automatic sliding bolts on the "inner sides" of the guns which cannot be seen normally unless wielded by the player themselves. The red glitching skulls seen on the firearms serve as the scope, while the red skulls seen on the stock of the guns serve as a vanity decoration. The text "65L" on both sides of both guns are also purely vanity, signifying that the player is Level 65, or max level. The small camera-like objects seen near the muzzle also serve no purpose.

Despite being considered a submachine gun, it also bears a small resemblance to the Steyr AUG A1, albeit there is no grenade launcher attachment present on Combat Overlords, and the real life Steyr AUG is much longer than Combat Overlords themselves in terms of a muzzle and stock. This weapon's stock also bears a resemblance to the FN P90's stock, but smaller than a real life P90. When reloading, the player gently shoves the guns to the sides, then presses both magazines together, signifying that the reloading process has completed. Should the player run out of ammo, the guns move towards the side with a small metallic noise, presumably the inner side bolts jamming due to no more ammo. During this process, the red skulls that serve as the scope are also temporarily disabled, and a soft tone electronic chirp can be heard. This process takes approximately 2 seconds to complete.

Performance

Combat Overlords has 14 damage, 99 firerate, 150 DPS, 50 capacity with 100 reserve, and 100 mobility. It is a 14 shot kill at base and 8-10 shot kill when maxed.

It has 3 primary attributes: Gadget Blocker(GadgetBlocker.png) Bleeding(Bleeding.png) Infrared Imager(X-RayVision.png)

It has 1 secondary attribute: Scoped(Scoped.png)

  • Gadget Blocker disables your opponent's gadgets for a brief period upon hitting them.
  • Bleeding applies a bleeding effect that deals small damage over a long period of time.
  • Infrared Imager adds an effect to your screen where every ally and enemy is highlighted in neon green and everything else is highlighted in deep blue.
  • Scoped allows you to zoom in by a certain amount (usually 8-10x) by pressing a button at the cost of heavily reduced movement.

It has Fixed Delay, meaning when you deploy this weapon, there will be a short animation that plays before you can fire it.

Strategy

Basic Gameplay

Combat Overlords is an all-range Automatic that is highly versatile but less effective in most environments and situations compared to other Automatics. It encourages its users to play aggressively thanks to its high ammo and very high mobility.

Tips

  • Use its high mobility to your advantage and strafe around your opponent to disorient and overwhelm them.
  • If an enemy is using some sort of camouflage skin or is otherwise hard to determine the location of, scope in and use the Infrared Imager(X-RayVision.png) to quickly find them.
  • Aim for the head to maximize damage.
  • Don't try to rely on the Bleeding(Bleeding.png), as it doesn't do enough damage to reliably kill an opponent.
  • Do note that the Infrared Imager(X-RayVision.png) will show allies in the same color as enemies.

Counters

  • Use a Slows Down Target(SlowsDownTarget.png) weapon to negate their high mobility.
  • Don't fight them at long ranges, as Combat Overlords' high mobility will make it difficult to hit them.
  • Try to ambush them to quickly overwhelm them before they can retaliate, as its nature as an Automatic will not allow for high burst damage.
  • Ignore the Bleeding(Bleeding.png), as it isn't powerful enough to kill you unless you're at critically low health.
