The Leader's Best Friend, commonly abbreviated as LBF, is a Primary weapon introduced in the 23.0.0 update. It was originally obtained by completing all 5 elite challenges in the Lunar Showdown Season Pixel Pass.
Description
Leader's Best Friend is a Mythical Grade Primary weapon added in the 23.0.0 update. It has 18 damage, 137 DPS, 98 firerate (7.5 sps), 40 capacity with 80 reserve, and 55 mobility. It is a 3-5 shot kill when maxed. It has 3 attributes: Increased Damage Headshot(
) Weakening(
) and Barrier(
)
Appearance
It appears to be an MP-5 blanketed in layers of gold and black, with swirls and accents of gold. A golden rabbit head is mounted atop the rifle, with a green laser sight facing outwards, with jades spread across the weapon.
Performance
It has 137 DPS, 98 firerate (7.5 sps), 40 capacity with 80 reserve, and 55 mobility. It is a 3-5 shot kill when maxed.
It has 3 primary attributes: Increased Damage Headshot(), Barrier(), and Weakening()
- Increased Damage Headshot boosts the normal Headshot multiplier from 40% to 80%.
- Barrier gives its users a damage resistance when held. (In this case, 20% resistance)
- Weakening applies a 25% damage reduction to any user affected by it. (In total, 40% damage reduction with Weakening and Barrier.)
It has Fixed Delay, meaning when you deploy this weapon, there will be a short animation that plays before you can fire the weapon, lasting about half a second.

Strategy
Tips
- Aim for the head to compensate for the low body DPS.
- This weapon completely shuts down any sort of damage that you take from enemies thanks to its Barrier and Weakening Combo, this allows you to take 3CatSpammers head on.
- Use it when against users with high damaging weapons, as the massive damage resistances will block most of the damage.
- Avoid letting enemies get close to you, as Leader's Best Friend struggles at close range.
Use it when retreating, as the Barrier() can let you tank just enough damage to escape. (Only use this if you don't have a good mobility weapon)
Counters
- Make sure to ambush its users as facing them head-on is dangerous.
- Rush them with a melee to disorient and confuse them.
- In case you get hit, retreat and try to catch them off guard from around a corner.

Trivia
- its name is a reference to the Machine Gun’s original name, “best friend".
- It is based on the Heckler and Koch MP-5.
- It is the first weapon to feature both Barrier and Weakening together in a single weapon, because of this it is now infamous for being used by players to gain an unfair advantage.
