The Mainland is a map in Battle Royale released in the the 15.0.0 update.
Appearance
The Mainland map in the Battle Royale mode features many different locations from the Pixel Gun 3d multiplayer maps.It features an Area 52 Labs section, a Nuclear city area, and many others. There are different biomes too, including a canyon area with high mountains, farm houses on grass fields, and a few others. Fans of Pixel Gun 3d will love this map because of the many locations that we know and love.
Strategy
- If you don't want to much action in the beginning of the match try landing at the end of the ship route, not many players will jump at the end.
- For more high risk, high reward players: Try landing in a big city or at the beginning of the ship route.
- Make sure to find weapons for all ranges (shotgun, assault rifles, sniper rifles, heavy weapons) this will help you fight people in all sorts of ranges.
- If you spot a player don't immediately shoot them unless they are in an open spot where there is no cover, if there is lots of cover around them and you shoot, they can easily run away and you could lose them.
- There are different rarities of chests representing different weapon levels. There are common chests (white), rare chests (blue), epic (purple), and gold (yellow).
Trivia
- The developers announced a while before that the Battle Royale map was going to be extended and showed players the comparison of the extended map to the Small Isle.
- This map is only in the Battle Royale mode.
- The map is inspired from other BR games such as Fortnite, or PUBG
- You can use flame throwing weapons underwater.
