I'm pretty sure this thing is bad in PvP, but due to monsters' movement patterns and the many tight spaces, when paired with good modules, this thing actually can dominate raid modes. Oh, and definitely more so than ghost lantern because it has a slow travel time (basically if you miss, it's somewhat of a big deal). Despite the massive hitbox the monsters often move too quickly for you to hit them. Either that or more just spawn before you can react.
