umm... it doesn't shoot a laser
the spear is thrown, and it spirals counterclockwise (like a clock with one 'hand', the point, turning backwards) in the direction thrown, dealing damage to any players in its path, it leaves particles behind
it has a range, probably stops when the player can throw it again
