Barrier

Description

The Barrier is a Tool that blocks a portion of incoming damage. It is very similar to Royal Guardian.

Performance

It blocks half of the damage dealt to the user for a short duration, effectively doubling the user's health.

Strategy

  • It is inferior in every way compared to the Royal Guardian. Use Royal Guardian over Barrier if you own the former.
  • Its duration is quite short, so it is better to save the gadget until an enemy is seen. Alternatively, one can use Engineer Cape at the cost of some damage to extend the duration.

Trivia

  • This gadget used to block and reflect 50% of the incoming damage to the attacker. It was nerfed in 19.0, resulting in the deletion of the damage reflection.
