Are you looking for its normal version: the Pixel Gun?

The Pixlgun (also referred to as "Pixelgun" in-game) is a weapon that was released in the 16.5.0 update. It can only be used in Pixlgun 3D.

Description

It looks very similar to the Pixel Gun, but when compared to it, its statistics are worse in performance. Mainly, its lower capacity count.

Appearance

The Pixlgun and its counterpart, the Pixel Gun, have a leather strapped or wood handle and a chrome slide to them. The Pixlgun however, is slightly larger than the Pixel Gun, is blockier and uses slightly darker or lighter shades on each part. This is the old look for the Pixel Gun back in 2013.

Performance

Because of its capacity count and the max capacity also being 10, the player only has one magazine loaded in the pistol as well as one spare magazine of an equal capacity. Meaning every shot must count. Damage is poor, it takes 5 (4 via headshots) hits for a Zombie Pigman to be killed by it.

Its total capacity count and poor damage can only kill 4 - 5 Zombie Pigmen before running out of ammunition, missed shots are not an option.

Strategy

Tips

  • Aim for the heads of the monsters to maximize damage.
  • Find for more ammo pickups in case it will run out of ammo soon, because it only carries a total of 20 rounds.
  • It has good accuracy. Back off from enemies and then fire.

Counters

Since this weapon cannot be used in multiplayer modes and minigames, there are no counters for it.

Changelog

16.5.0

To commemorate near the 6th anniversary of the original game, the Pixlgun is added.

16.6.0

Updated firing and reload audio along with the Pixel Gun, to make it more realistic.

16.8.0

Reverted firing audio along with the Pixel Gun, possibly for its iconic firing sound.

Trivia

  • Because it is not in the Armory, its stats are unknown beside its Capacity. It can be presumably the same as the Pixel Gun.
  • It is the only weapon that can only be found in Mini-games and Polygon.
  • Its appearance from the Gallery icon looks slightly different compared to its actual model.
  • The 3D model seen in the Gallery has misaligned textures.
  • For some reason, this weapon is slightly stronger than the Pixel Gun (PG3D), when used in Polygon, it is a 3-4 shot kill in the head.
