The Cyber Cat Lantern, sometimes abbreviated as CCL, Cyber Cat or Cat Lantern, is a Special weapon added in the 21.1.0 update.

Description

The Cyber Cat Lantern is a Special weapon of Mythical grade introduced in the 21.1.0 update and is obtainable from the Trader's Van for Gems. It can be used as an alternative for Necklace of the Ice King and Poison Darts as it deals in between damage from the two and is viable for 3 Category Spam.

Appearance

The Cyber Cat Lantern appears to be a futuristic lantern paired with a white and pink controller with an antenna resembling a cat's paw. The lantern itself is printed in white and blue with pink accents and a red light on top of the lantern. The letters "C1" is painted on the lantern's sides and a screen displaying a pixel cat's face on the front.

Performance

The player presses the paw on a controller for the weapon to shoot pink projectiles with a very small area damage () and inflicts blindness () effect. Just like the Ultimatum, the Ghost Lantern, and the Poison Darts, (etc.) this weapon uses the single-shot system so it has no reload.

Strategy

Tips

• Always try to hit the enemy directly to deal the maximum damage as the area damage is very small and almost deal no damage from the edge of the explosion.
• Use this in a Three Category Spam Loadout.
• Take advantage of the Blindness () attribute.

• This weapon has no travel time, so try to strafe and jump to avoid being shot.

Trivia

• Despite being a cat spam weapon, it used to have a fixed delay, meaning it is not suitable for 3 cat spamming. In the 21.1.1 update, its fixed delay has been removed.
• If you leave this weapon idle for long enough, the player will start petting the cat lantern.
• Although this has the name "Lantern" it is more of a Drone. because you hold a remote control to shoot with this weapon.
• The abbreviation is sort of similar to the abbreviation of the Crystal Laser Cannon, being CLC.
