The ODM Special Gear is a Melee weapon introduced in the 22.6.0 update. It can be obtained from the Anime Season Vol.2 Pixel Pass.
Description
ODM Special Gear is an anime-themed melee weapon that has good damage, low starting ammo of 6 and great mobility. It can one shot kill low to mid grade armors but cannot one shot mythical armors, unless the wielder has high level modules. It can be used as an utility tool to move around maps.
Appearance
Performance
When charging the character grinds the two blades and when finished charging holds them almost parallel to each other at 45º to the right. Fully charging takes a little less than 1.5s. When you fire after fully charging, a black cable will be launched to the targeted direction and the player will be pulled towards the first surface the cable hits. Just like all other pulling weapons, the pulling attribute does not work if the targeted surface (or a player) is too close or too far.
Strategy
Tips
- Collect as many ammo as you can because this weapon runs out of ammo easily.
- Avoid dropping into the middle of a battle as the charge time makes the wielder vulnerable when surrounded by enemies.
- Leave one ammo unused as you cannot charge your attacks if all of the ammo are used.
- If the enemy survives the first hit with this weapon, finish them off with a high fire-rate weapon.
- Basically any up to level weapon should suffice as the opponent would be on low health.

- Hide behind walls when the user is seeking an opponent.
- Attack while the user is engaging another player.

Trivia
- Although it has the ammos, it won't consume any ammo if the attack doesn't reach the full charges. Plus,its attack style will be like a normal melee (without pulling toward targets) instead of a projectile shooting.
- The weapon is a very big reference to the Omni-directional mobility gear from the famous Anime/Manga series Attack on Titan, a type of equipment that is used to kill titans.
