Irradiated Shovel
The Irradiated Shovel is a secret Melee weapon added in the 21.8.0 update.
Description
It is a fictional Melee weapon with green colour. The weapon gives instant damage without any special effects. This weapon has low damage, slow attack speed and slow mobility. It has infinite capacity due to it being a Melee weapon.
Appearance
It is a transparent green shovel, with an occasional shine effect just like the Golden Friend.
Performance
This shovel is held in one hand. The player swings this shovel when attacking.
This shovel, along with all of the Royale Shovels used in Battle Royale, have the same weapon mechanics. All of the shovels have no delay mechanics, no bullet travel time, no rocket jump mechanic, no self-damage that can be inflicted and no optic sight (with the exception of the Sniper Shovel)
Strategy
Tips
- The damage is bad, the firerate is bad, the mobility is bad, everything about this weapon is bad, so use it only if you want to flex your masterhacker skills. Note that doing so you will get banned.
Counters
- Any weapon is better than this one, due to it’s low stats.
Recommended Maps
Equipment Setups
Equip Social Uzi, Mystical Ore Emitter and any other super-rare or unobtainable weapons in the game with this one to prove that you are a true masterhacker. Don't forget to equip the allegedly removed Novice Armor and Adamant Helmet along with it.

Mystery
Hardly anyone knows about this weapon, some reasons are that it is much more difficult to obtain even with cheats, even compared to Desert fighter and Iron Sword. You would not be able to tell from the weapon string (hound_weapon_one) that it is the Irradiated Shovel, and even if you were to force it to appear in the game, no matter where you went, it would just say "Sorry, this weapon isn't suitable for the current brawl". If you were to try to bring it into matches regardless, the game would unequip your melee entirely. Oddly enough, the "removed" Pocket Harpoon and Firework gadgets also have the same error with the brawl message. This is evidently some sort of protection that the developers added to these items to prevent cheaters from getting them. The Desert Fighter and Iron Sword and all other forbidden weapons in the game do not have such protection like this, that is why they are seen much more often. The weapon was first publicly found by Hussain PG3D.
Trivia
- The weapon was probably planned for the Mutation gamemode, but was never available there for some reason.
- This isn't really a "hacker trap" and they do not automatically ban whoever gets it. But if you see a player with it, then obviously they are a cheater.
