The Still Working Windmill is a Melee weapon introduced in the 22.1.0 update. It can be obtained from the Wind Chasers Lottery.

Description

It is a handheld windmill. It has good damage, very fast attack speed and fast mobility.

Appearance

The appearance is that of a white and orange handheld windmill with three blades and damaged handle. A red wire connects the handle to a pack on the users back, most likely the power pack for the windmill.

Performance

While attacking, the user activates the windmill, creating a windbox that pulls enemies in and damaging them with the blades. The shoot button can be held down for a chainsaw effect, dealing constant damage while pulling enemies in.

It has fixed delay, which means when you switch to this weapon from another weapon there will be a period where you are unable to attack.

Strategy

Tips

• Take advantage of the gravitational pull to get the enemy closer
• Don't use it all the time as its huge size can definitely block your view

Counters

• Use high mobility weapons like the Thermal Ultra Scythe to get away as fast as possible
• Kill users with this weapon who are coming after you as quickly as possible with the likes of Golden Friend

Equipment Setups

• Equip with a weapon from other categories with decent mobility like the Pulling Sucker Gun to try getting closer to opponents
• This weapon is humungous when held which can obscure your vision so try not to hold it that often
• Use gadgets that can boost damage or movement to get a better performance like the Astral Wand and Leader's Drum

Trivia

• Many referred to this weapon as Electric Vortex 2.0 because it dealt 0 DPS at maximum range, while also having and barely any range.
  • But since it got fairly buffed, that is now no longer the case and Electric Vortex remains to be clowned on by the community.
