Locator
The Locator is a Melee weapon introduced in the 23.1.0 update. It is exclusive to the Sneak and Seek gamemode.
Description
Locator is a science-themed weapon that can't be used in any gamemode besides Sneak and Seek. It is only used to detect the monster.
Appearance
Locator resembles a yellow radar attached to a gray body with a handle. There is a screen on the top. From the front of the device, where the radar is located, a thick blue wire goes to the middle of the body.
Performance
When the monster is near, the locator begins to show it on the screen. The monster is showed relative to the center of the screen, where the player is. The closer the monster, the closer it is to the center of the screen.
There is a scale at the bottom of the screen. It shows the monster's distance to the player. The scale has 5 tiers, each tier having a louder beeping sound to indicate how close the monster is.

Trivia
- This weapon may of been inspired by Alien: Isolation.
- The weapon does not have an attack animation, and the player holds it in their left hand.
- Many players have speculated that this and the Irradiated Shovel are the only weapons left to be hacker trap weapons, as Desert Fighter no longer takes that role and Iron Sword was accidentally brought back and many people got it.
- Locator was accidentally added into the Melee Collector's Chest, however, they have removed this hours later,
- It has the exact same attributes as Complete Grinder.
