The Sharp Butterfly Rifle is a Sniper weapon introduced in the 23.7.0 update. It can be obtained from the Backrooms Season Pixel Pass.
Description
The Sharp Butterfly Rifle is a sniper that deals high damage, decently slow firerate and poor mobility. It comes with a target mark, slow debuff and a bayonet mechanic.
Appearance
It is a badly worn out sniper with flashlight-like barrel with teeth, its scope has eyes resembling a flower. The entire gun is held together by some ropes while the bottom includes a blue bayonet.
There is butterfly with giant singular eye on the middle around it, these butterfly can be seen flying around the user.
This gun has a unique target mark, showing the said butterfly instead of the traditional red arrow.
Performance
This is a hitscan weapon that is capable of 2 shotting enemies. And a chainsaw attribute that deals constant damage overtime upclose
With its target mark and slowness, this weapon is incredibly deadly on right users.
Strategy
Tips
• Aim for the head for a instant kill.
• Use its target mark to track down surviving enemies, or atleast let your teammates know where they are.
• Its chainsaw attribute lets you deal with melee rushers or any close combat encounters
• Use a high mobility weapons if you want to reposition to new areas, as this gun has poor mobility
Counters
• Move as fast as you can, either with grapple or high mobility weapons.
• Do not let them hit you, use heavy or shotguns to make quick work of them.
• Do not run in straight line if you plan to rush them.
• If you are marked, be prepared to fight them around the corners.
