Big Fatality Gun
“ | The dream of impressionist. Shoot your enemies using all colours of the rainbow, paint the neighborhood with bright explosions, adding more diversity to the grey landscapes of Block-Francisco | ” |
—Weapon description in the Gallery |
The Big Fatality Gun (BFG) is a Heavy weapon added in the 12.1.0 update. It is the first form of the Big Fatality Gun.
Description
It is a purple cumbersome cannon that shoots a bigger ball of blue energy the more it's charged. The weapon deals massive damage, high capacity, and rather low mobility. This weapon is a 1 shot kill when charged enough.
Appearance
It is a large, purple cumbersome cannon with some cyan, gold and gray details, a cyan clip, a handle on the top and a large trigger.
When charging, it generates a ball of blue energy at its "crystals" in its "mouth," which becomes bigger as the user charges it more.
When reloading, the player takes out the clip from the center of the weapon's back part and puts another one.
Performance
This weapon is a charge shot weapon, so it is important to seize the opportunity. However, due to its insane damage and very high rocket speed, users don't need to fully charge it frequently, especially when they have already countered the enemies. Without any damage boost strategies, users only need to charge half of the progress bar to deal 200+ damage (100+ displayed) if they hit the enemies directly. Alternatively, they could spam the attack button if the enemies are very low instead of charging it.
Though it has no delay mechanics, its immediate damage is too low to support it being effective at multi-category spam.
Generally, the Big Fatality Gun can easily destroy opponents with its massive damage and quickly harvest enemies. Its strength justifies the name, always delivering a fatal attack to the enemies.
Strategy
Another way to use it
Same as most other heavy weapons, the Big Fatality Gun could also do rocket jump, and it doesn't require users to fully charge it but only click once. This makes him a perfect rocket jump tool as it has no delay mechanics and a average price. Furthermore, the users don't need to upgrade it anymore if they decided to use it for rocket jump only, because the upgrade system will affect damage but not mobility or functions.
But its rocket jump is a little bit special: diffrent to most others, the Big Fatality Gun will push you to the left-front direction instead of backward or straightly left. Besides, there's a slight bit delay before it shoots, so it is important to adapt the weapon itself.
By using it in this way, you could obtain a rocket jump weapon with a capacity of 50, special pushing force, and no delay mechanics.
