The Deadly Beat is a Heavy weapon introduced in the 13.2.1 update. It's the improved and re-designed version of the Bass Cannon.
Description
It is a large, dark purple cannon that shoots colorful and circular projectiles. It deals good, has a very slow fire rate, good capacity, slow mobility, and a large radius. This weapon can two shot kill opponents.
Appearance
It's a re-skinned version of the Bass Cannon.
It has a dark purple body, an orange-colored battery, has yellow, blue, pink neon lights, and makes a similar sound to its counterpart.
Performance
This weapon shoots colorful circular projectiles from its double-nozzle. The weapon leaves a colorful splash radius on impact. Its knock back effect is also useful for disorienting foes.
When reloading, the player takes out the battery from the side and replaces it with another one. It has no delay mechanics.
Strategy
Tips
- Use Jetpack to defeat opponents.
- Be aware of Primaries or Snipers because opponents can quickly shoot you.
- It works the same as its counterpart with more damage.
- Target opponents who are low on health.
- Although it has decent travel time, it's still recommended to time your shots correctly.
- Therefore, close to medium quarter battles are generally recommended.
- It's reload speed is slow, so only reload when you are sure that you're absolutely safe from opponents.
- Feel free to use this for crowd control due to its massive .
- After the buff, it's now possible to one-shot certain Armors with high level Modules.
- This weapon is perfect for Easy-Way-Out, as it does a lot of self damage.
Counters
- Pick off its users from safe distances.
- Use a weapon like Hero or Champion Peacemaker.
- Don't get too close because this weapon will deal huge damage.
- You could also engage the users in close range using weapons.
- Attack the opponent from behind.
- Use Barrier to absorb damage.
- Use Jetpack to fly above the opponent. However, do not fly too close to ceilings or walls as the big area damage will damage you.
- This weapon has travel time, so you will need to time your dodge and make sure they don't predict your movement.

- Have a long-ranged weapon, as the cannot reach long distances.
- A Primary or Backup weapon to finish off opponents who are low on health.
- Use a Special weapon, such as Poseidon Trident.
- Due to its low mobility, equip a Melee weapon with at least 85 mobility to move quickly.

Deadly Beat has gained infamy in the community as an incredibly overpowered weapon, likely due to the previously huge damage and large hitbox. Even after its nerfs, it remains a popular choice among 3Catters.
